Strangely, I can download and install extensions from the Chrome Web Store without issues. Edit: Both the problems with updating and downloading add-ons are now fixed. I have a Gen 3 and although adding the heatsinks directly to the CPU and RAM have extended use, it still crashes after hours. Below is a pic of what we did.
